LEARNING CAMP (entering grades 5-8)
This innovative course provides 100 hours (5 hours a day) for 4 weeks of focused instruction in language arts, math, test-taking strategies (WASL, ISEE, SSAT) and LEGO® Mindstorms® (a course in robotics developed by MIT and used internationally). ADVANCED SAT VERBAL
(entering grades 11-12)
This group is designed for students who have scored at least 680 on the critical reading and 680 on the writing sections (with a timed-writing score of 4 or higher) on one of ME’s Practice SAT tests (or other recent SAT test). This group follows a fast-paced, intensive curriculum designed to fine-tune students’ performance on the SAT. Group meets 20 hours (2˝ hours twice a week) for 4 weeks. Meeting times to be announced. COLLEGE COUNSELLING and ADMISSIONS (entering grades 11-12)
This course is for students who wish to take charge of the college admissions process to maximize their chances of gaining access to the college(s) of their choice. Course work focuses on curriculum planning, profile and resume development, test deadlines, college selection, application preparation, admission essays, and interview practice.
